Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your Komposite purchase. The following sets out when and how returns, exchanges and refunds apply.

Custom & Personalised Items

Please choose carefully when ordering custom or personalised products — for example house number signs made with your chosen number, name, font or colour. Because these are manufactured to order specifically for you, they cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded unless they arrive damaged, defective, or differ from what you ordered. This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty goods under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

When we accept returns or exchanges

We permit returns and/or exchanges where: the incorrect product was delivered to you; the product is damaged or defective; or the product has the incorrect size or specifications. Returns and/or exchanges must be initiated within five (5) days of delivery.

How to initiate a return or exchange

Email info@komposite.co.za setting out the reason for the return. For damaged goods, we require proof of damage by email or WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the package from the courier.

Condition of returned products

Returned products must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging, and packaged and wrapped correctly and safely by you.

Manner of return

Approved returns must be sent to: 9 Columbus Crescent, Unit 1, Rivergate Industrial Park, Parklands, Cape Town, 7441. Return shipping charges are for the customer’s account, unless the item was incorrect, damaged or defective.

Inspection

Once returned, and before accepting the return, we are entitled to inspect the product. If, in our reasonable discretion, the product is not suited to be returned, we are not obliged to accept the return.

Outcome & refunds

Once a return is accepted you will be given the option to have the product replaced or exchanged. Where a refund applies, funds will be returned within 7 working days to the same payment method used for the purchase.
